Bones - a journal for new haiku
Together with Sheila Windsor and Alan Summers I've started a new journal for gendai / new haiku.
On the web-site www.bonesjournal.com we've specified in words what we are looking for in haiku in the 21st century and we've created a "demo-version" to demonstrate.

hidden haiku - a memento
This is a "memento" thing. I got this idea and instead of just making a note (which I'd forget anyway) I sort of "scratched it down" by doing it roughly.
Media: India ink on paper, string, super glue (to make the knots unbreakable), cotton cloth, "icon board" (gessoed wood), acrylic, colored inks, industrial "silk" paper.
the haiku reads:
sepulchre
a name that saves
on its way to morning
and should be attached to the back of the work in an envelope ... or something
