post generation

these haiku were written for a NaHaiWriMo prompt including a "haiku generator". it's a piece of code that gives you 17 syllables in 5-7-5 from random words; a nonsense-ku (most 5-7-5 ones are anyway)

stoned dervishes
out of sync they fall
like cut pigs

in a swarm of photons
I gladly bury
the rotting dog of winter (black)

no more cherry pie
the sick the poor the crying
gather by The Immovable

pinched by frost
I remind the songbird
it too shall rot

nahaiwrimo prompt: mountain

in a land without 'em molehills will do for mountains

Benignus' day in the Cleansing Month
I feel like having climbed
every mountain

the name is Mountain
John Mountain ...
and I have seen one too

imaginary mountains
I give them wings
just to liven things up

halfway through the Cleansing Month
I translate my name:
Giovanni Monte

”mountainless” a word that will do for now ::: melting snow

... and another one

nahaiwrimo prompt: hat

winter sun I go out wearing Ozaki's hat

--
Info: inspired by Hiroaki Sato's translation of Hosai Ozaki's poems: Right under the big sky I don't wear a hat
